Here's a little interview with my good buddy Alfonzo!
How did you find YTP?
I started watching YTP around 2008 but I don't remember what was the first one I ever watched. Mostly I was just a Deepercutt fanboy.
What inspired you to start making your own YTPs?:
After a few years I started watching a lot more different poopers and realized there was a lot more out there than just Deepercutt and Krobo. I was really inspired by the Grand Galloping Collab, seeing all the different styles that were involved there. After I got my own computer I made my first YTP using My Little Pony as the souce. That's just what I was really into at the time.
Who are you inspirations?
My biggest inspiration is probably Peskeh but I'm inspired by all kinds of people, from the big names to the small names. I'm most interested in people who are willing to try new things, like Likety or LinkOnDrugs.
Are you satified with your work?
That's a really good question. I feel like I'm always getting better and I look back on some of my old videos with disgust. I just think to myself "ugh that's terrible, why did I even make that." but then I figure I'm just taking it too seriously. I want to say I'm satisified with my videos but most of the time it feels like there is more I could be doing with them. So, no. I'm not satisified with my work, that's one of the things that keeps me going.
Tell us about the first poop you ever made.
Heh. That one. I made it in Windows Live Movie Maker and it's terrible. I mean, it's okay when you think "This was his first poop" but honestly I don't like that my "name" is on it. For some reason though, it's my most popular video, with over 200,000 views... I blame the bronies.
What is your favorite source to use?
I don't have a favorite source. I will just use whatever seems interesting to me at the moment.
What editing software do you use?
I use lots of different editing software. If I'm just making something simple I'll probably just use Sony Vegas but this is one of the areas where I feel like it's good to keep expanding. I want to learn as much as I can about different programs because it gives my videos variety. The effects that can be done in Sony Vegas are different than the ones that can be done in VideoPad which are different from the ones that can be done with Audacity etc. etc. I will use any program that I can get my hands on.
If someone were to watch your channel for the first time. Which video would you like them to watch first?
Hooved Females Ruin Spike's Life. It's one of my funnier videos and it still shows off some of the creative ideas I can put into a video as well.
What would you like to say to all the poopers out there?
Uhhhh... stay classy, poopers. Seriously though, I would tell them to just make whatever they feel like making. Don't limit yourself in any way. YTP is about freedom, not subscribers or views or anything like that. Just do what you want to and don't be afraid to try new things.
Lastly, is theadventuretimefan a fag or what!?
what (that's my answer since the options were fag or what)
Okay, thank you for your time Alfonzo!
