If I could, I would someday
Keep a cloud in a Coke bottle
A white puffy one in mid-May
It'll all fit if I throttle
The cloud'll turn cerise
And form more like cotton
When I want, I'll take a piece
It won't taste of anything I've boughten
No longer will it taste of lies
Then, I'd have knowledge of new
Celestial matters that apprise
A new flavor for me to accrue
When it gets too warm for me
I'll shake it 'til it's grey
Water'll fall, as salty as the sea
And cool me off for the day
But, I wonder about the middle
Between the sugar and the salt
Would it play as a second fiddle?
Or could it become a decent malt?
Whatever it is as the end
The bottle must be secure
Enemies I'd have to fend
So none get what I procure
Yet, after it all, it will smash
Either by lightning or fragile glass
Would it whimper or would it crash?
Maybe it'd become a gas
Still, how cool that'd be to have?
A cloud in a Coke bottle, sealed in tight
Think of all the attention it could calve
Perhaps, if I could, it'd give me flight
