It's strange really, how much can change and swing in your favour over the course of 24 hours.
Here was me thinking Christmas was gonna be awful, and it turned out great. Damn me and my pessimism. Everything went off without a hitch, really - went to see my relatives and all went well. I even went to see my grandma and she seemed well too. I really ought to worry less and become more optimistic.
Of course the presents were awesome too; most notably a brand new coffee maker (and enough drinks for it to run my own shop with). I actually now have 2 coffee makers of different brands. I just like coffee I guess. As well, I got an awesome self-stirring mug (it's a mug with a battery-operated rotor in the bottom to swirl a drink around. It doubles as a travel mug too, awesome) and a RC car from my friend (haven't had one of those in years). Also got a copy of Forza Horizon 2 for the XB1, again nice. And a tonne of chocolate. I swear I got the most in my family, which has NEVER happened before and is awesome.
I guess... pessimism is bad, ultimately. Or, it's good, and when things go right it's a nicer surprise. At least I've learnt never to make blog entries when I'm frustrated. I can say I learnt something this Christmas. Oh and giving presents is awesome too. Yeah, I like that.
