Yeah, yeah, you guys are looking at the title right now and thinking to yourselves... "WHY?!" Well, why not. We all know that Thomas the Tank Engine is a show aimed for preschoolers. But once upon a time on the internet, somebody had done the liberty to create mashups with the theme song of the show. It usually is with rap music. And others are dubstep, techno, or rock music. And that's why tonight, I'm compiling the top 10 list of the greatest Thomas the Tank Engine mashups ever! Better than 11, right?
So all aboard in the mashup train! It's time for the Top 10 Thomas the Tank Engine Mashups.
10. Khia - My Neck, My Back
Shitty song, which is saying a lot since some of them on this countdown mix with other shitty songs, so this isn't a rough start. R&B singer, Khia, made this song, My Neck, My Back. ...why? Well, let's be honest, the song may be appalling, but the mashup with Thomas the Tank Engine is, indeed, clever, and actually fits to the tempo. Of course, if you ignore the theme song, it will be what you expect... shit.
9. Eminem - Slim Shady
I may not be big on Eminem, but there are remixes and mashups with Eminem that stand out. This is no exception! Yeah, the Slim Shady song is what every Eminem fans or rap fans know; will the person that's not an imposter, please stand up. And when there was a Thomas the Tank Engine mashup, it's very amazing! The overall humor in this is really clever, and it's a nice way to do an Eminem mashup.
8. Iggy Azelea - Fancy
Guys, don't let me speak about Fancy. Let Todd in the Shadows do it for y'all. I didn't think this would work as a mashup, but damn it all, it does! It's dubbed as the Thomas the Fancy Train sometimes, and how it plays off is really stupid, but at the same time, funny! Now, I don't think the original song is good, by any means, but this is a great mashup altogether.
7. Dragonforce - Through the Fire and Flames
The song is a popular phenomenon, mainly the internet, used in YTPs, parodies, etc. This mashup alone is one of them. It's a "what if." Like what if a poser metal song was mixed with Thomas the Tank Engine. And here, it works! Hell, it makes the original song sound actually good.
6. Skrillex - Bangarang
Dubstep alert! Yeah, Skrillex, dubstep, blah blah blah. Mind you, there are some decent dubstep songs, but otherwise, I can't stand them. But I do like the parodies of dubstep, mainly parodies of Skrillex. This is one of them. And it mixes with Thomas the Tank Engine really well. Somebody must do that again sometime.
5. DMX - X Gon' Give it to Ya!
I first heard of the original in Rick and Morty, and I was looking for the original in context, until I found this! Oh my god! I died inside. This is what happens when DMX was made for toddlers. It's hysterical, it's unique, and overall an amazing mashup! Quick, somebody needs to do Where Da Hood At, like pronto!
4. AC/DC - Back in Black
One of the most popular songs from AC/DC, and for a good reason, it's awesome! And that's saying a lot with the band. Yes, this year was indeed a terrible year for AC/DC, but this year, we got cheered up with this mashup! Thomas the Tank Engine... if he sang glam metal! That is one of the best things... ever!
3. Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff
Not a fan of Limp Bizkit, but this... I mean this! The tempo is amazing, the humor there is fucking awesome! I mean, like, Thomas the Tank Engine doing rap metal for children! The only flaw is that it's too short. Usually, the mashups are 2-4 minutes. But it's still incredible.
2. DJ Snake feat. Li'l Jon - Turn Down for What
So... this song. Yeah, everybody knows about one of these songs from 2014, this year, such as this one, Turn Down for What. Parodied a lot, including the King of the Hill parody, where Hank Hill sings it. So what do I love about this one? Well, even though there is another version of this, this is hands down awesome, with perfect humor and amazing tempo!
1. System of a Down - B.Y.O.B.
Oh hell yes! Please don't tell me you guys did not see that coming. People put this on the list, mainly in the top, and for a lot of good reasons! 1, the pacing comes out of nowhere as it makes the mashup more fun! 2, the tempo is well put together! 3, it's all and all, well put together. There is nothing negative I can say about this one! It's hilarious, it's out of nowhere, and altogether, it's glorious! And it's the ultimate #1 mashup!
So if anyone agrees or disagrees, let me know. Until then, this is TVBRobotnik (MrCheesesCousin) saying... CHOO CHOO!
