Texas Tech @ YCP
It's been a while since my last update. Sorry about that. I'll try to finish this season before the end of next month. Maybe.
Anyway, this time I have to play against Texas Tech. In 2004, they were 8-4, so they weren't exactly a powerhouse, even though their losses were mostly against decent opponents. For this match, they have a very good Passing game, with a not so impressive Rush Defense. After messing with the depth chart a bit, let's get this show on the road.
(By the way, did I mention that the YCP coach's name is King Harkinian?)

Closing Thoughts:
Not a bad match, I suppose. Texas Tech got a few long passes that concerned me, but I've still gone 4 matches in a row without being scored on. That'll probably change next time, though.
Kicking was decent, but missing any Field Goals is never fun. I can't recall if I ever punted or not. That's probably a good thing.
On defense... well just look at those stats. Very solid across the board with plenty of sacks. There were a few times where I think I was robbed of an interception, but whatever. Against Texas Tech, this could've been a lot worse.
Offensively, I probably rushed more in this game than in any match that I've played in a long time. If one of my running backs doesn't win all of the awards, then I don't know what to say. Passing wasn't awful, but 5/14 is pretty weak, even if I did complete 3 TDs. Don't let those fumbles fool you, by the way. If I recall correctly, they both happened when I made poorly-timed laterals.
Up next: YCP faces Oxford. Just kidding, I'm playing at #11 Nebraska.
